The Aby-Adi license area is located in Kola Tembein and Tanqua Abergele Woredas, South- Central Zone, Tigray National Regional State (TNRS) in northern Ethiopia.The license area can be easily accessed along 783km tar road that stretches along Addis Ababa-Debre Birhan-Dessie-Woldiya-Alamata-Mekelle cities. From Mekelle, the regional capital of TNRS, a 100km tar road along the Mekelle – Adwa highway takes one to Aby-Adi town. Access within the license area is by using paved and dirt roads passable by 4WD vehicles. In addition, Ethiopian Airlines provides multiple flights per day to Mekelle airport.
